Booking Conditions

  1. Booking a Tour. These booking conditions together with the general information section form the basis of your contract with Fields of Conflict LLP. For the purposes of the general and these booking conditions the term “YOU” refers to the persons listed on the booking form (or attachment) on behalf of whom you are making the booking. If you require clarification on any aspect of the tour please contact Fields of Conflict. If you agree with all aspects of the tour please complete the booking form and return to Fields of Conflict together with a cheque for the deposit. A signed and returned quotation is your acceptance of the terms agreed and only terms contained therein are contractually binding.
  2. Deposit. For all tours a deposit of 30% is payable upon booking. Cheques should be payable to “Fields of Conflict Client Trust A/C”. The outstanding balance must be paid in full 60 days before the departure date of the tour.
  3. Cancellation. If a person, either travelling as an individual or a member of a party cancels, they may be replaced by another person. The cancellation and/or alteration must be made in writing by the person making the booking and will be effective from the date the written communication is received by Fields of Conflict LLP. A charge for administrative changes may be made. Cancellation charges are as follows:

    • More than 60 days before departure Tour deposit
    • 60-45 days before departure 30% of tour price
    • 45 - 30 days before departure 50% of tour price
    • 30 - 14 days before departure 70% of tour price
    • Less than 14 days before departure 100% of tour price
    In the unlikely event that Fields of Conflict LLP is forced to alter or cancel a tour you may withdraw from the tour or accept the suggested modifications to the tour or an alternative tour. If you withdraw from the tour you will be entitled to a full refund of all monies not committed on behalf of the individual/group to the suppliers detailed in the quotation.
  4. Insurance. All individuals and members of group MUST be insured. Evidence of this insurance, including the policy number, must be produced to Fields of Conflict LLP not less than 30 days before tour departure.
  5. Passports. It is the total responsibility of the traveller, whether travelling as an individual or a member of a group, to ensure that they are in possession of a valid full passport and are fully aware of the entry/visa requirements for all the countries to be visited.
  6. Conduct. All persons travelling whether as an individual or as a member of a party must adhere to laws and regulations of any country visited and of airports, airlines, hotel accommodation and coach company used on the tour. Fields of Conflict LLP reserve the right to refuse to carry any individual, group or member of a group causing nuisance, affray or distress to any other member or members of the group or any person employed or sub-contracted for the purpose of the tour by Fields of Conflict LLP. In the event of this happening Fields of Conflict LLP will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by either an individual member or member of a group in part or entirety.
  7. Force Majeure. Fields of Conflict LLP cannot accept any liability for losses, damages or additional expenses suffered by you or a member or your group as a result of causes beyond its control such as war or threat of war, civil strife, crime, industrial action(s), natural or nuclear disaster, accident, disease, adverse weather conditions, coach or aeroplane breakdown or similar occurrences, riot, terrorist activity or Acts of God.

These conditions are issued on behalf of Fields of Conflict LLP and are not interpreted according to Northern Ireland law.

General Terms & Conditions

  1. If you book your own airline reservation we cannot be held responsible if your flight is delayed, cancelled or changed by the airline. The size, content and weight of luggage will be regulated by the airline used. It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet the airline’s regulations. If you have any questions about limitations please contact us.
  2. There may be a charge levied by the hotel for items not included in the brochure price. Examples of these are charges for pay-to-view, television, mini-bar, room safe etc.
  3. Unless specifically stated in the brochure price, extra entrance fees to places of interest, such as museums etc are not included in the price.
  4. It may be necessary at short notice to change the proposed itinerary due to weather, road works or traffic conditions. Every form of transport can break down. In the unlikely event of this happening we shall endeavor to rectify the problem as quickly as possible. However we cannot accept any responsibly for any delay caused by transport breakdown.
  5. For all tours to member countries of the European Union please ensure you are in possession of the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). For general travel information on please contact the Foreign and Commonwealth Travel Advice Unit on 0870 606 0290 or www.fco.gov.uk. Please note that tours may not be suitable for people with limited mobility, certain disabilities and other medical conditions. You must ensure your travel insurer is fully aware of all relevant medical conditions(s).
  6. Women who are more than 28 weeks pregnant, unfortunately, are not allowed to travel on our tours. Children between the age of 10 and 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children under the age of 10 cannot, unfortunately, travel on our tours. The person making the booking must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking.
  7. Due to factors such as fluctuations in exchange rates and cost changes we reserve the right to amend the brochure price.
  8. Should you have a complaint about any aspect of your holiday you must inform your tour manager/guide immediately. In the unlikely event that the matter cannot be resolved at the time, you are required to make a complaint in writing by recorded delivery to Fields of Conflict LLP within 28 days of the completion of the tour.
  9. Tours contained in the brochure are subject to a minimum number of participants. We reserve the right to cancel a tour if the minimum number has not been reached 28 days before the commencement of the tour.
